About the Author
Kathleen Reid lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two daughters. A history major at Mount Holyoke College, she is passionate about this project which combines her creativity with her longtime interest in historical figures. Her goal is to make Jefferson's life and legacy more accessible to teachers, students and history lovers both young and old.
“I-pad and stylus replace the quill pen and parchment in Kathleen Reid’s innovative retelling of the events of Mr. Jefferson’s life. As one of the most creative technophiles of his time, no doubt Mr. Jefferson would have employed today’s social media wisely, and perhaps in much the same manner as the author imagines,” Professor Larry J. Sabato, Director, University of Virginia Center of Politics.
